Dynamic Path Formatting

All output paths in both the UI and command line versions of Paint.NET Bulk Image Processor support dynamic formatting. This means you can include special variables in the path names whose values are automatically supplied by Paint.NET Bulk Image Processor. These variables are surrounded by <> symbols:
  • <i> - i is replaced by the index of the current image. As images are processed they are automatically assigned a unique index. For example if you are processing a directory that contains two bitmaps and you want them to be renamed to MyImages<i> their output names will be MyImages0.bmp and MyImages1.bmp. When using this variable on output directories it resolves to 0 for the root directory and every subdirectory.
